Please see the attached email from Illinois-Eastern Iowa Governor Kathleen
Benson about Holiday Embrace in the Illinois-Eastern Iowa District. The
event is right outside of Chicago, and several of us are planning to
roadtrip out there, contact me if you have any questions.
I've also attached the registration information for the Ya'll Conference
hosted by the Georgia District. Please let me know if you have any

Dear Governors,
Early next week, each of you will be receiving your official invitation for
Holiday Embrace 2007 (they were sent out today) in the mail.
Holiday Embrace is a formal dinner and dance sponsored by the
Illinois-Eastern Iowa District of Circle K International. This is a
fundraiser for our district project, the Spastic Paralysis Research
Foundation. The Spastic Paralysis Research Foundation works to find cures
for diseases of the central nervous system such as spina bifida, cerebral
palsy, or Alzheimer's.
Holiday Embrace is going to be held Saturday January 6 at the Holiday Inn in
Willowbrook, IL. Willowbrook is near Chicago, so either flying into O'Hare
International or Midway is a great option and my district would get you from
the airport.
The cost is $35 for the dinner and dance and $20 for the dance alone. The
dinner starts at 6:30 PM and the dance starts at 8 PM and lasts until
midnight.
There will be a raffle, chance to dance with a board member, and many other
fundraisers being held at the same time for Spastic Paralysis. It will be an
amazing night!
If you would like to come up a few days beforehand and explore the Windy
City of Chicago, Illinois, please let me know and we will plan fun things to
do around the city.
I highly encourage you to put Holiday Embrace 2007 on your calendar for
January 6th. It is not only a great event to see all of your Circle K
friends but also have a great time dancing (it's like prom without a date!)
and raising money for a worthy cause.
