*HOUSE OF DELEGATES: *Each club in good standing is entitled up to two
delegates who are certified to vote on various issues that are presented in
the House of Delegates (HOD) 2007. However, these two individuals must be
certified before they can participate. In order for clubs to ensure the
certification of their delegates, clubs must complete a *Delegate
Certification Form<http://www.cdcki.org/events/dcon/2007%2520Delegate%2520Certification%2520Form.pdf>
*. This form requires not only the names of the chosen delegates and
alternates (if applicable), but it also requires signatures by the Club
President and Club Kiwanis Advisor, so please do not put this off until the
last minute! Forms can be found at the following site
(http://www.cdcki.org/events/dcon/2007%20Delegate%20Certification%20Form.pdf)
as well as attached to this e-mail. Don't hesitate to let me know if you
have any questions!

*INTERESTED IN RUNNING FOR DISTRICT OFFICE??*
Do you want to be more involved in the Capital District of CKI? Well, then
YOU could be our next District Governor, Secretary-Treasurer, Editor, or the
Lieutenant Governor for your division! If you are interested, or even if you
just want more information regarding the various positions, please take a
look at the District Officer/Committee Chair Candidacy Packet (
http://www.cdcki.org/events/dcon/2007%20Candidacy%20Packet.pdf) or feel free
to ask me/your division's LTG for more info.

*SHOW OFF YOUR TALENT!* Can you sing? dance? play an instrument? If you
answered YES to any of the previous questions, NOW is the time to head to
the following site (
http://www.cdcki.org/events/dcon/2007%20Talent%20Showcase%20Entry%20Form.pdf)
to fill out an entry form for the 2007 CDCKI Talent Showcase! Selected acts
will have the opportunity to perform at the Presidents' Banquet on Saturday
evening, so if you (or someone you know!) has any talent, start getting an
act ready for DCON.

Also, don't forget about the 2007 Oratorical Contest
(http://www.cdcki.org/events/dcon/2007%20Oratorical%20Contest%20Entry%20Form.pdf).
The theme for this year's oratorical contest is "What is the value of
community service to today's young adults?", so be sure to check this out as
well!
