Do you want a chance to be more involved in the Capital District of CKI?

Do you want more of a voice in the goings-on of our District?

Do you want to be a *2007- 2008* *DISTRICT COMMITTEE CHAIR*? .... Then *READ
ON*!

This upcoming year, the Capital District Committees are evolving to increase
the involvement of all Capital Crabs by encouraging any interested CKIers to
become involved as members on the various Capital District Committees. This
means that the roles of our 2007-2008 Committee Chairs are extremely
important and will be vital to the success of our District! *Please read the
attached application form completely for position descriptions and the dates
of any mandatory events such as Capital District Board Meetings.*

The attached application form for the District Committee Chair positions of
*Club Building & Revitalization Chair, Conferences & Conventions Chair, Kiwanis
- Family & Sister Districts Chair, Laws, Regulations & Awards Chair, Membership
Development & Education Chair, Service Chair, and **Technology Chair *must
be completed by interested applicants and *submitted electronically to
Governor-Elect Sneha Bhat* (bhats7637 at gmail.com) by *midnight on Thursday,
March 8, 2007*.

If selected, you will be notified by *Monday, March 12, 2007, *and required
to attend *Spring Officer Training Conference 2007 (March 24-25, 2007 in
Fredericksburg, VA)* to ensure appropriate training for your position! You
will also be required to submit proof of enrollment and a signed Service
Agreement at this time.
