[CDCKI Business] District Large Scale Service Project Information

Greetings Capital District Leaders!

After a lot of planning, the District Large Scale Service Project logistics
have been finalized.  The DLSSP will occur SATURDAY, MARCH 17, 2007.  You
will find the details below for both of the locations, and I encourage you
to attend the location that best suits you and your club's travel
abilities.  If you have any questions about either project, please contact
Service Chair Shanez Jenkins ( service at cdcki.org) or Lt. Governor Lana
Borgie (lana.borgie.04 at cnu.edu).

Harrisonburg, Virginia
Where:  Harrisonburg Children's Museum 30 North Main Street
When:  1:00-4:00 PM (CKI Members should arrive by 12:30)

Baltimore, Maryland
Where:  Essex Library 1110 Eastern Boulevard
When:  11:00-3:00 PM (CKI Members should arrive by 10:30)

What are we doing?  A series of stations set up around both locations for
the children, including face painting, story telling, pen pal letter
writing, sketching, and fun zone.

What to bring?  CKI Clubs should bring children's books along with them for
the reading station, and are encouraged to dress up as their favorite
children's book character to add fun to the atmosphere.

We look forward to seeing all of you at this year's DLSSP.  Thanks for all
your help in making this project a reality!
