Are you a newly elected Club Officer for your CKI Club? If so, *Spring
Officer Training Conference <http://www.cdcki.org/events/SOTC_main.htm>* (SOTC)
is an important event that you are* *required to attend in order to ensure
that you are ready for your new leadership role in CKI! You can find more
information and a tentative schedule of the event on the CDCKI web site!

SOTC 2008 will be just a day out of your busy schedules, but it will be a
great chance for you to learn about how your new leadership role fits into
CKI and the Capital District, gain valuable information about your new
position through Club Leadership Education training, attend important
officer and project planning workshops, meet other incoming Club Officers
from around the district, and it's a wonderful opportunity for you to bond
with your fellow CKI Club Board members while setting goals and making plans
for the upcoming year! :)

*WHAT:* *Spring Officer Training Conference 2008: Learning the Ropes of
CDCKI!*

*WHEN:* *Saturday, March 29, 2008 - 9AM to 10PM*

*WHERE:* *Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA*

*HOW MUCH:* *$20/attendee if you register by the pre-registration deadline
of 6 PM ET on March 14th*! *This covers the cost of lunch, all workshop
materials, and a SOTC souvenir.* *After the pre-registration deadlines,
registration will still be accepted even on-site, but will be at a rate of
$30/person.*

Overnight accommodations are being made available to attendees by the CKI
Club of The College of William and Mary. Please make sure that
you mark whether you need housing options or not and/or if you have any
dietary restrictions on your Registration Form.
