[District Board] MD&E Chair Applicant and Quick Reminders!

Hey Board!

Hope you are all doing well! Just a quick reminder that if you have not yet
turned in your goal sheet or if you have yet to get your clubs' officer
contact information to Gloria Bidgood (gbidgood at kiwanis.org) from Circle K
International, please do so as soon as possible!

Also, Nick Allgauer from Radford University has applied for the position of
Membership Development and Education Committee Chair for this year, and he
has many ideas and a lot of enthusiasm for the position. I think that he
will do a great job with this committee, but if you have any major concerns
or objections to my appointing him (or if you want more info), please let me
know within the next 48 hours and I will take that into consideration.
Otherwise, if you do not respond, I will assume that Nick serving as our
MD&E Chair this year is OK with you :-)

Don't forget to continue promoting the remaining Committee Chair positions
and the Susquehanna LTG vacancy. The Committee Chair application
deadline for the remaining committees (Service Chair, Technology Chair,
Con-Con, LR&A, and Kiwanis-Family and Sister District Relations) has been
extended till Monday, April 23, 2007, so please promote this!! Also, slowly
start seeing who all from your clubs are interested in going to
International Convention and LSSP, and, if you know of anyone who is even
slightly interested and/or wants more info, let me know!
