INSTITUTE ON PHILANTHROPY AND VOLUNTARY SERVICE

**Students who complete their application between December 5th and January
5th will be entered into a drawing for a $250.00 travel voucher to
Washington, DC to attend the Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary
Service. ** 

 

The Priority Deadline for scholarship funding is quickly approaching for the
Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary Service, a dynamic summer program
for undergraduate students interested in volunteerism and careers in the
nonprofit sector. 

 

Students in Circle K International will be given priority in scholarship
awards from our general scholarship fund.  Circle K members should indicate
on their application materials that they are a member of Circle K and list
their activities on their resume.  

 

A substantial amount of scholarship funding is still available and over half
of all students accepted to the program receive a scholarship.  Students are
encouraged to apply by the priority deadline of January 25th as acceptance,
internship placement and scholarship decisions are made on a rolling basis.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, leadership ability
and financial need.  The final deadline is February 25, 2008. 

 

This fast-paced Institute offers a rigorous combination of professional
experience, academic learning and service projects that will provide
students with an unparalleled experience in the nation's capital.
