        For those who don't know me, I'm the newly appointed On To
International Convention (OTIC) Chair for the Capital District! My job is to
work with you and help get your clubs to get to all out to International
Convention (ICON) this summer.

*2007 International Convention: Planting Seeds of Service*
Join the 100s of CKI'ers from all over the world and attend the BIGGEST CKI
event of the year!

*Where:* Portland, Oregon

*When:*  Saturday–Tuesday, August 4-7, 2007

*What:*  ICON is a time to celebrate in the success of our District and
clubs, to voice your opinion on matters concerning our organization in the
House of Delegates, to party w/ 100s of CKI'ers, to elect your incoming
International Board, *and so much more*!

*Capital District ICON Travel Package*
This year we're going to do something a bit different. We're creating an
ICON Travel Package for your trip to Portland and give you the opportunity
to pay for it in 3 installments.

*CDCKI ICON Travel Package:*
Includes your Registration Fee, Hotel, Roundtrip Airfare, District Dinner
Outing in the Pearl District, Tour of the Columbia River Gorge, Daily
breakfast/snacks in the District Suite, and a Spirit Pack!

*Entire Package Cost:
*Flying out of Washington Dulles (IAD)  = $914
Flying out of Baltimore (BWI) = $868
Flying out of Richmond (RIC) = $952

*Can't Afford To Go To Portland???*
There will be some ICON fundraising events throughout June around the
Capital District to help!
If you sign up to attend one of the fundraiser, the proceeds will go towards
subsidizing your costs. More info on these fundraisers later!

Be sure to also contact your Soponsoring Kiwanis club to help out!
