[CDCKI Chairs] DCON Board Update!

Hey Everyone!

Have you been promoting *DISTRICT CONVENTION 2008* to your clubs? I know
it's finals week for a lot of you, but please keep in mind that the early
registration deadline is December 31st and that date is quickly approaching.
If you have not talked to your clubs about DCON, and really encouraged them
to attend, please do so right away. This is something you should do not just
through e-mails, but also take a few minutes to call your clubs and talk to
them about DCON when you visit them as well. Convention information can be
found here if you need it: http://www.cdcki.org/events/DCON_main.html. Let
me know if you have any DCON questions.

Also remember that everyone must* sell at least 2 full pages worth of
program ads by January Board Meeting*. The forms can be found here:
http://www.cdcki.org/events/dcon/2008%20Program%20Advertisement%20Form.pdf.
You may ask local businesses, other organizations, as well as
friends/Kiwanians/CKIers to purchase an ad. Full pages are $75 each, and a
half page is $45.

Finally, at the end of this e-mail is an update on which clubs have how many
people registered for DCON so far (these numbers do NOT count D-Board
members, but remember that *all of you still need to register *if you
haven't already). This is to give you an idea of what our registration
numbers are looking like. We set our early registration goal at 50 people,
and we are not there yet, so promote, promote, promote!
