  As the end of the college year fast approaches, so too does an
opportunity to raise food for the hungry. Students Team Up To Fight
Hunger (STUFH) helps coordinate end-of-year food drives at area colleges
so that departing students can throw their unwanted non-perishable items
into bins provided by food banks, rather than throwing them into a trash
can. There is no cost for this program because STUFH is a non-profit
organization with one purpose- helping to end hunger. Whether your
local university raises several hundred pounds or several thousand
pounds, it is a tremendous opportunity to forge ties between your local
college and your food bank, and presents a number which we can hopefully
increase year after year.

STUFH has been working with food banks and universities throughout
the country for the past decade to help raise food for the hungry, and
in the process foster a greater student awareness for the fight against
hunger local communities. In fact, many STUFH chapters are being formed
on campuses to provide year long volunteering and hunger awareness which
is a great source of support for local food banks.
We hope that you will join us this year in doing an end-of-year drive.
It is as simple as letting us know which colleges you would like to work
with, and then dropping off and picking up the bins at the end of the
