an Implementation Group

Fellow CKI Members,

Our organization sits on the precipice of greatness with the finest
membership of servant leaders known to service organizational history.  It
seems only fitting that this membership be asked to help make some of the
hardest decisions in the history of Circle K International.  None of these
decisions should be made alone or with anything but sober respect for what
CKI is attempting to become and how we plan to get there.  It is for that
reason that the Circle K International Board is intently seeking the help of
CKI members and Kiwanians to form a diverse group dedicated to the
betterment of CKI.

We are pleased to announce that the International Board is forming an
Implementation Group to help articulate and promote the vision for CKI
crafted by the International Board.  The members of the group will be
entrusted with taking this pre-defined vision and crafting a plethora of
associated "nuts and bolts" bylaws amendments as well as communicating with
and engaging the membership base.  The group itself will act as an Ad-Hoc in
the areas of communication and meetings, operating by tele-conference and/or
online chat.  The focus of the group will not be to conduct research, but
rather to conduct the business of bettering our organization through
information and expression of the vision.  The group will begin work
immediately after the conclusion of the December Board Meeting (December
3rd) and will continue work and promotion until the Governors and
Administrators Training Conference (GATC) in April, and beyond.

We cannot stress enough that those of diverse background, those with or with
out office, will be sought out to serve.  We are looking to propose answers
to decisive organizational questions and we would like to do it with the
help of your voice: the voice of the member.  If you or anyone you know
would like to help us accomplish this feat please submit your name, home
club, and home district to any board member, but preferably your assigned
International Trustee.  Every name submitted will be passed to the Executive
Committee and considered.  The deadline to submit the information mentioned
above is Monday, November 13th, at Midnight EST.

International.
