*Hey Capital CRABS!*
**
*Do you want to be involved in Capital District Board Meetings?* *...Would
you like the opportunity to head a committee made of CKI members from around
the District? ...If so, you should apply to be a Capital District Committee
Chair**!*  (Remember, you can be a CKI Club Officer/Committee Chair *AND* a
District Committee Chair simultaneously!)

This upcoming year, the Capital District Committees are evolving to increase
the involvement of all Capital Crabs by encouraging any interested CKIers to
become involved as members on the various Capital District Committees. This
means that the roles of our *2007-2008 Committee Chairs* are extremely
important and will be vital to the success of our District!  *Please read
the attached application form completely for position descriptions and the
dates of any mandatory events such as Capital District Board Meetings.*

The attached application form for the District Committee Chair positions of
*Conferences & Conventions Chair, Kiwanis - Family & Sister District
Relations  Chair, Laws, Regulations & Awards Chair, Membership Development &
Education Chair , Service Chair, and **Technology Chair  *must be completed
by interested applicants and *submitted electronically to Governor-Elect
Sneha Bhat* (*governorsneha* @gmail.com <bhats7637 at gmail.com>) by *midnight
on Sunday, April 1, 2007 *.

If selected, you will be notified before Sunday, April 15th, and you will
also be required to submit proof of enrollment and a signed Service
Agreement at this time.
