[CDCKI Editors] Newsletter Tips

Hello editors!
Now that school is starting back for most of us I would like to offer up
some suggestions of things to include in your newsletters throughout the
year.

   - *Include a calendar of events.  *This helps remind your members of
   upcoming service projects and socials.  This calendar could include club,
   divisional, district, and/or international events.
   - *Club officer contact information. *Before including this, talk to your
   club officers and see what they are comfortable giving out to the club
   members, be it an email address or screenname. It is good to publish this in
   the beginning of each semester in case of officer changes.
   - *Articles of past.  *Its good to let your members know what events you
   have done.  In the beginning of the semester these articles are a good way
   to attract new members. A brief synopsis of the event and pictures will help
   people see what CKI does.
   - *Ads for upcoming events.  *This is a great way to give more details
   about events listed on your calendar.

If you would like any more suggestions feel free to email me. If you would
like more information about the position of editor consider attending Fall
Training Rally on September 26-28th.  There will be club officer workshops
and lots of fellowship activities. It is a great way to talk to other club
editors and get advice and share your experiences.  Check out the CDCKI
