[CDCKI Editors] Want to be District Editor??

Hey Editors and Non Traditional Officers!

                  I hope Winter Break is treating you all well. I know I'm
enjoying the break, but I'm ready to get back into the swing of things soon.

As I'm sure all of you know, District Convention is coming up. District
Convention is a time for parties, training, and of course, electing our new
district officers!

The job of district editor is pretty low stress... I'm not sure if I'm
supposed to tell you all that, but oh well. Your main concern is serving on
the Executive Board and publishing the Capital Courier. Directly from the
district the job description includes:

Editor: *The *Editor* is responsible for the printing and publication of the
*Capital Courier*. The editor shall send copies of the publication to the
members of all clubs in good standing, the members of the district board,
the District Administrators, the International Trustee, Kiwanis and Key Club
Staff, and others as deemed appropriate. They are charged with finding a
printing location approved by the administrative team.

If you are interested, I can tell you more about the position and how to
apply to run for office at DCON. I have attached the candidates packet, take
a look at it. It seems a bit overwhelming, but it's actually pretty easy.

Becoming a district officer is a lot of fun. You are on the board that plans
all of the district events, service initiative, and everything in between.
You get to know everyone from around the district, and you are invited to
any event you could possibly want to attend!

you with anything and everything you will need to run for office!!
