Hi Capital!

 

                Have you ever served on a yearbook committee or have a love
for writing and/or photography??? If so, you should definitely apply to be a
part of the 2009 CDCKI Yearbook Ad-hoc Committee!!!

 

                This committee was created by the 2008-2009 District Board
during their FTR Board Meeting and is going to be a really fun project!! The
yearbook will include photos from CKI clubs all over the district and will
include things such as event photos, superlatives, quotes, and an autograph
section! The goal is to have the yearbooks ready for sale by DCON 2009 so
that we can look back at all the things we have done this past year and of
course get signatures from all our CKI friends at DCON (It will be similar
to high school yearbooks only so much more AWESOME!) These yearbooks will be
used as a fundraiser to raise money for the Capital District Foundation
which helps subsidize the cost of holding our Fall Training Rally and also
travel for our CKI Leadership Academy delegates(which is also super FUN so
you should consider applying in the spring).

 


                We are looking for CKI members to fill the following roles:

 

.         Editor-in-Chief: Responsible for overseeing the committee.

.         Layout Editor: Responsible for creating page layouts for the
yearbook.

.         Photography Editor: Responsible for all photos to be placed in the
yearbook.

.         Writing Editor: Responsible for all journalistic aspects of the
yearbook.

.         Art Editor: Responsible for all art to be included in the
yearbook.

 

More detailed descriptions on these positions can be found in the attached
application. If you would like to apply, please email me your completed
application by Friday, October 31, 2008 at 11:59PM. All appointments will be
made with 48 hours of this deadline. Please contact me (governor at cdcki.org)
