[CDCKI Metro] 3rd Annual Greenwell State Park Clean-up Day

Hey everyone!

 

Hope all had a wonderful summer!  The Kiwanis Club of St. Mary's County has
invited Circle Kers to their Annual Greenwell State Park Clean-up Day and
Welcome Back Picnic for Service Leadership Programs. I have attached the
flyer that they have sent to me as well.

 

The event will take place on Saturday, September 29. The cleanup begins at 9
am with a picnic lunch to follow at 12 pm at Greenwell State Park in
Hollywood, Maryland. Directions are included in the flyer. 

 

Please contact me for more information if you are interested! It is a
wonderful way to meet other Circle Kers from the District and Division as
well as those from other branches of the Kiwanis Family! 

 

Please RSVP by September 22 to St. Mary's SLP Chairperson, Glynnis Schmidt,
at (301) 737-6311 or bwsges at yahoo.com. Please have one person respond with
headcount for groups or clubs.

 

If only a few are interested and there is need for transportation, please
let me know and we will try and work something out. For example, rent a car
for the day and go down there (for any DC clubs). It is beautiful in that
area and everyone should enjoy the nice day there!
