Hey Metro!

Details Details Details

Retroline is a co-divisional event that is held with the Ridgeline
Division. Since last year Retroline was held at The George Washington
University, this year it will be at George Mason University (end of the
Orange Line - Vienna/Fairfax). It will be on Sunday, November 4 from 12
- 5 pm. There will be 4 different in-house projects along with a
Tie-dying and some snacks. The 4 projects are Card-Making, Thanksgiving
Decorations, making ABC Coloring Books, and Recording Children's
Stories. All of this ties in nicely with the this year's District
Project, Making the Arts a Reality for Kids (MARK) so it would be
wonderful if you would all come out to this event.

What to Bring

For tie-dying, please bring a white t-shirt. If you feel that you will
be unable to bring a white t-shirt, we will provide one for extra cost.
Also, every club should buy (or bring to donate) at least one children's
book. This way these books can be recorded on tapes to give to kids and
the books can be included with the tapes. Last of all, bring
yourselves!!! (and money for the Metro ride!)

The Cost

$10 for those who want T-shirts - please tell me the size you would like!
$8 for those who are bringing their own T-shirts or do not wish to Tie-dye.

Any questions, please let me know! This event is a little more than 2
weeks away! I will be making a flyer for you to show interested club
members!

Your Metro LTG,
Deirdre
