Hi everyone!

For those who don't know me, my name is Lyndsey Clouatre (that's pronounced
CLUE-art) and I am your Metro Division Lieutenant Governor for the 2008-2009
year. I'm originally from Annapolis, Maryland (Go Navy!) and I am a junior
majoring in Political Science with a Public Policy focus. Assuming I have
any spare time between Circle K, classes, and my job at GW's main library, I
like to sleep, cook, read, and make really bad "That's what she said!" jokes
a la Michael Scott from The Office.

Now down to business...

For those of you who attended DCON, how did you feel about it? What did you
like and what could we have done better? (Personally, my vote is for no
carrot cake next year. Vegetables and desserts should not mix.)

This year's Spring Officer Training Conference, or SOTC, will be held on
March 29 at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA. It is
required for 2008-2009 officers and a great way to not only learn your roles
as an officer, but also to meet up with fellow officers from other clubs and
have a great weekend! If you register by this Friday (3/14) at 6:00 PM,
registration is only $20, while late and on-site registration is $30.
Overnight accommodations will be provided by the CKI of The College of
William and Mary. If you are unable to attend SOTC, please e-mail me so I
can arrange to provide you with the training materials. For more information

I'm so excited about working with you all and it's going to be a great year!
