Hey Capital District!

It's already January 2007, and we are less than six weeks away from the
event we have all been waiting for...

CAPITAL DISTRICT CONVENTION 2007

 "That's a Wrap: Capital in the Spotlight"

*What*: *That's right! It's the 47th annual Capital District CKI Convention,
and this year it's back with a Hollywood theme and even more opportunities
for you to have fun! *

*DCON 2007 is a chance for Capital CRABS and other CKIers/Kiwanis-family
members to get together to shape the future as we elect the 2007-2008
District Board and participate in the House of Delegates, share in the
successes of the past year as clubs and individuals receive awards, learn
from the educational workshops, gain new ideas at the first ever
Hands-On-Service Fair, and just have an all around fantastic time...so don't
miss out!*

*Be sure to get there early on Friday evening for the Mocktail Welcome Party
at 6:30PM and an EXCITING Opening Session at 9PM which will include amazing
talent of the executive director of the American Hypnosis Clinic, Dr. Larry
Volz. Come early, get good seats, and maybe you'll be one of the lucky
audience members chosen to participate! **Registration and Credentials desks
will be open starting Friday at 5PM.*

Circle K Convention" has been reserved at a rate of $80.00/night (quad
occupancy) plus applicable taxes until January 26th, 2007.

*How Much? The pre-registration rate for convention has been set as $90.00. All
registrations received after January 26, 2007 and on-site will be at a rate
of $110.00/person.*  One-day registrations are available for Kiwanians and
guests of Circle K only. *Registration refunds will be accepted in WRITING
up until January 26, 2007 only. *

*Program Advertisement Promotion - Any CKI member* who sells $150 or more
worth of advertisements for the convention program will receive a 50%
discount off of the pre-registration price of their convention
registration.   If a CKI member sells, $300 worth of advertisements, they
will receive a free convention pre-registration.   * - Advertisements sold
by members of the Capital District Board of Officers are INELIGIBLE for this
promotion.*
