[CDCKI Non-Trad] Have You Registered for FTR Yet?

Hey Capital CRABS!

Guess what?? *There is only ONE WEEK left until the registration deadline
for Fall Training Rally 2007!* Remember that registration is $40/attendee as
long as you register by midnight on Friday, September 21st at the following
site: http://www.cdcki.org/events/FTR_reg.htm. After that, registration is
$50/person...so register NOW!!

*Not sure what the registration fee covers?* Well, not only does it include
your lodging and food for the weekend, but it also includes all your
workshop and training materials, and a long sleeved FTR shirt and flashlight
souvenir! As if that's not enough, here are *10 more reasons to attend Fall
Training Rally* this year:

10) We have all kinds of interactive and fun workshops and sessions to help
you gain leadership training, information on CKI, and ideas for you to get
more involved on the club, district, and International levels of the
organization. FTR is also a great opportunity for you to get all kinds of
ideas for new service projects and events, ideas to help you better your
club, and a chance to really get energized and pumped for an upcoming year
of service, leadership, and fellowship!

9) You'll get a chance to participate in a hands-on-service project as well
as have opportunities to help us fundraise for the Capital District CKI
Anthology Project so that we can build the first library in the San
Francisco de Opalaca region of Honduras. (What is the anthology project? You

http://www.cdcki.org/events/Helping_Hands.htm).

8) It's your first opportunity of the year to meet our new 2007-08
International Representative, Kristen Reed... and she's coming with lots of
information on the International level of our organization, as well as ideas
to better our district and your home club!

7) Small group activities balanced with our large group challenges as well
as workshops and general sessions, provide the perfect harmony of training
and fun this weekend!

6) Take time to reconnect with your division as well during the Divisional
Rally time at FTR. You will get a chance to bounce ideas off other division
members, discuss CKI hot topics, and you will get lots of important
information on district and divisional information :)

5) We'll have a bonfire!...and, yes, that includes S'MORES!!

4) If you are a club officer, FTR will feature e-board training to help club
boards learn how to work together effectively and working towards completing
your club goals. For Presidents, we will also have the first President's
Council Meeting of the year, and we also have really important workshops for
Club Secretaries and Treasurers to attend to get the latest information on
what to do this fall. Also, new members, prospective members, and other
non-officers will have many opportunities to get acquainted with the
organization and/or more information on how they can get involved in various
scales and can also learn more about this year's International Service
Initiatives, the District Anthology Project, and so much more! Everyone is
welcome :)

3) LONG SLEEVED FTR T-SHIRT!!...need I say more?

2) We have an amazing theme this year, and that means you will have the
opportunity to participate in some pretty amazing games and challenges along
your route to uncovering the Lost World of Capital :)

1) Not only will you learn a lot, but you will get a chance to hang out with
your fellow CDCKI members! Meet up with your old CKI friends, get to make a
bunch of new friends who share your passion for service and helping others,
take time to hang out, play mafia and other fun card games, and just have an
all around great time.

So, don't forget to register by next Friday night! Bring as many people as
you want, and feel free to encourage prospective CKI members and new members
