Vote in the House of Delegates!

All CDCKI clubs in good standing can have up to two delegates be certified
to vote on the issues presented before the House of Delegates (HOD). At this
year's convention we have some exciting issues to decide on in the HOD. You
will be receiving an informational e-mail with details on all of these
amendment proposals within the next few days!

*To certify delegates,* *clubs must complete the Delegate Certification Form
(found at **

*)*. The form asks for the names of the delegates and alternates (if any)
and a signature from your club President and Kiwanis Advisor. All delegates
must be a member in good standing of your club! *BE SURE YOU HAVE THE
APPROPRIATE SIGNATURES ON THIS FORM, AND BRING THIS FORM WITH YOU
TO DISTRICT CONVENTION!!*

Become a Capital District Officer

You could be your division's Lt. Governor, the District Editor,
Secretary-Treasurer, or even the District Governor! Being a district officer
is a great experience and is something that every member should consider.

So, are YOU interested?* If you are interested in serving on the 2008-09

Keep Some Change!
We'll be selling the *Helping Hands* anthology for our District Fundraising
Initiative ($15 each with 100% of the profit going towards our funds to
build the library in Honduras), bookmarks to help reach our goal of $10,000
to build the library, a penny wars competition to really get you
excited about the weekend and raise money for the Six Cents Initiative, and
we'll be raffling off an amazing t-shirt quilt (for only $3/ticket or $5/two
tickets) again this year! So, make sure you start collecting your change
today so you can participate in these fun activities!
