through with the 2006-07 CDCKI year, so, here is the latest MRF/Service Hour
Update!

*Service Hour Update*
*Our current service hour total in the Capital District CKI for this 2006-07
year is *
*6689.6 hours. *
*This leaves us 43,310.4 hours away from reaching our goal of 50,000 service
hours for this year. In order for us to continue to strive towards reaching
this goal, we need to record ALL possible service hours that we, as a
district, perform. In order to do that, here are some of the things you can
do to help:*
*--Report any backhours or individual service hours that you/your club
members performed over the summer*
*--Don't forget that service hours are not only the time spent actually
performing a community service act/project, but also planning time (i.e.
time spent preparing, buying supplies, going over logistics, setting up,
etc.), and travel time (full time if it is a pure service event and one way
if it is a service AND social event). *
*--You may not count hours performed by prospective/non-dues paid members,
BUT once a person pays their dues, you may count all their hours performed
for the year.*
*--Fill out MRFs accurately and completely and be sure that ALL members
(even club officers, district board members, and/or committee chairs where
applicable) are reporting their total service hours (performed both
individually and with the club) and that ALL these hours are being counted
in the monthly service hour total.*

***Remember, we may already be halfway done with our year, but we still have
another 6 months to go, so please do your best in reporting all hours so
that we can work towards our goal!!*
