[CDCKI Presidents] CKI Dues Information

Hey Capital Treasurers!

Today is October 1st, and that means that it is the start of a new CKI
fiscal year! As of today, dues for the 2006-07 year are being accepted. This
means that, if your club has not already been collecting dues, it is time to
get started! Remember, if your club wants to receive the Early Bird Dues
(EBD) award, you must have the appropriate number of members to pay dues (
i.e. 20 or 15 depending on the size of your institution) and they must be
submitted by *November 1st, 2006*! If your club meets these requirements,
you will receive an awesome banner patch and receive special recognition at
District Convention!!

Hopefully by now you all have an idea of how the dues process works and have
an idea of how to update the membership rosters online. If you do not
understand how it works, or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate
to give me a call or send me an e-mail/IM.

The process is very similar to how it was in the past, but do remember that,
as of this year, when you are submitting your dues to International, you
must pay by some traceable method (i.e. check, credit card, etc. but NOT
cash). Also, clubs should have received their "club key numbers" and their
"passwords" by now so that you can use those to log onto the system and
update your club rosters and/or generate an invoice. If you have not
received a number and password yet, please let your Lieutenant Governor or
myself know, and we will help you get that information!

*Here are some important dues dates to keep in mind*:
October 1st: Dues become payable
November 1st: Early Bird Dues Deadline
December 1st: Dues are due to CKI for the 2006-07 year
