Capital District Presents
Total K Day: Slam Dunk for Kids
A day uniting all branches of the Kiwanis Family for a day of service
 
What: A basketball tournament to support Key Club's "Nothing but Nets"
project,  Shoot-out games (e.g. HORSE, Around the World, etc.), a book-drive
to support CKI's youth literacy project, and a cookout provided by Kiwanis. 
 
When: Saturday, October 21, 2006, Noon-4pm
 
Where: George Washington Middle School's Gymnasium
1005 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22301
 
Cost: $10 or $5 with a new children's book. Proceeds will benefit nets for
malaria prevention in Africa and also to support youth literacy.
